Westfield La Part-Dieu is not only the largest urban shopping centre in France but is also located in the country’s second-largest business district. The shopping centre is situated in a prime location with direct connection to the tramway and steps away from the Westfield La Part-Dieu train station.
The iconic destination is home to the highest number of shops in the country, and offers a diverse range of services like Click & Services, which provides an on-site personal shopper, and allows customers to order clothes online and try them on in a dedicated, well-designed space.
The shopping centre has undergone multiple renovations since its inauguration in 1975 but none at the scale of its current transformation today. Upon completion, about 30,617 sqm will provide a new experience in one of France’s most popular malls.
The new façade will allow a maximum amount of natural light to penetrate the shopping centre, creating an open, airy environment. The top floor, which was once the carpark, will be become a rooftop terrace with a garden and cinema.
